Yesterday I went up to Red Rock with Lynn and Georgie.
We had a picnic, then hiked in the hot sun to this swimming hole.
First I painted it, then I took off my clothes and jumped in the water, swimming out to the deep middle.
Georgie really surprised me by following me all the way out.
What a delightful day.
I like that I’m not painting for the money any more, but for my own delight.

There are SO many beautiful places up that canyon. been going up there my whole life! Lots of good spots way up past where “everyone” goes.
yeah, for sure robert. i have just begin to explore, so much more to experience~
